Oplontis and Ercolano

Transfer to the embarkation port by bus.
At the arrival You get to Ercolano, place of holiday of the rich Patricians, situated opposite to the town of Neapolis, yet destroyed and submerged by the mud of the tsunami caused by the eruption of the Vesuvio in 79 b.c.
You’ll visit the most famous houses of Ercolano like the house of Cervi, The House Sannitica, the Gymnasium, The Suburban Thermae and other ruins of the town.

Transfer to Torre Annunziata, the old Oplontis, famous because of its Villa of Poppea, second wife of the Emperor Nerone.
Buried by lapillus, ashes and lava of the eruption of 79 b.c., still today Oplontis makes us imagining the power of a population, from the garden to the thermae, from the kitchen to the local of servants, all in a paradisiacal and surrealistic atmosphere.
Transfer to the harbour of Naples, boarding to the island and return to the hotel.
