Neapolitan Walk

from the old town to Neapolis

Pick up by our bus from the hotel early in the morning, transfer to the embarkation port to Pozzuoli.
By bus starting the trip from Phlegrei Fields, Pozzuoli, Bagnoli, Capo Posillipo, with the wonderful “Cartolina”, Mergellina, Via Caracciolo, at the arrival on the square of Gesù Nuovo.
The trip continues on foot to Spaccanapoli (historical centre), the church of Saint Chiara, Gesù Nuovo and the Street of Presepi, where it’s possible to visit the artisan stores to see how is built a typical Neapolitan Christmas crib.
Chance to visit (on request) the Chapel of S. Severo with the very famous statue of Sammartino “The veiled Christ”.
Transfer by bus to the Bourbon Naples, break for lunch with the possibility to book the “Pizza”.
After lunch on the square of Plebiscito one can admire the church of Saint Francesco of Paola, the Royal Palace; the Gallery Umberto I, the Real Theatre of San Carlo.
Walk on the very popular Via Roma till the station of the first Funicular railways and taste the typical Neapolitan Sfogliatella (puff pastry). Getting down on foot till the harbour we can admire the impressive size of the Maschio Angioino.
Boarding for the Island and transfer to the hotel.
